The card will be available through various retailers starting from February 23, while stocks last. via Pokemon Center/Pokemon
Things are pretty quiet on the Pokemon front. A little too quiet. Likely because this is the quiet before the storm with Pokemon Day a little more than two weeks away.
Unlikely anything will be announced before then, but it seems likely the future of Pokemon video games will be revealed on February 27, whether they be on the still hypothetical next Nintendo console or not. Before then, you’ll be able to get your hands on a special edition Ceruledge card. A first look at the card was revealed over the weekend as the Pokemon Center confirmed a promotion in which the Ceruledge will be given away for free. Featuring a Pokemon Day stamp to indicate why it was created, customers who enter the code pday2024 at checkout on the Pokemon Center from February 23, 2024, will be able to add the Ceruledge card to their order free of charge.
Super Music Collections for the three newest Pokemon games are now available in the US via Amazon. Unlike similar offers, this gift won’t be exclusive to the Pokemon Center. It has also been revealed that the card will be given away to Best Buy and GameStop customers too, again starting from February 23. The code above doesn’t appear to have been included in the Best Buy and GameStop confirmation which might imply customers need to spend a certain amount to be eligible for the card.
Possibly $15 or more which is what you will need to spend at Toys R Us where the card will also be given away. Pokemon Day itself will go down four days after the Ceruledge card is available, but Pokemon has yet to confirm what it will be doing to mark the occasion other than revealing this card. There’s not even been confirmation there will be a Pokemon Presents that day, although if there isn’t, it will be the first Pokemon Day in years where there hasn’t been one. Pokemon fans will be expecting one, and will also be expecting some big announcements with little on the horizon right now.
