Helldivers 2 Developers Commit to “Revamping” the Rewards System

Helldivers 2 is facing challenges in distributing Major Order medals, prompting Arrowhead to plan a system overhaul. The slow distribution of medals earned from Major Orders has been a consistent issue in the game. Arrowhead acknowledges the flaws in the system and plans to revamp it at some point.

However, it has been clarified that only the game’s delivery system will be changed, ensuring that players will continue to receive medals from Major Orders for the foreseeable future. Despite being an amazing game, Helldivers 2 has encountered various issues such as crashes, server problems, and disappointing patches. However, one of the most persistent problems has been the game’s struggle to reward players upon completing Major Orders.

Whenever a Major Order is fulfilled, numerous players voice complaints about not receiving their medal payouts. Arrowhead has recognized the ineffectiveness of the current system and aims to address it in the near future, as confirmed by Twinbeard, the community manager, on the game’s Discord server. Twinbeard emphasized that a future overhaul of the system handling these requests is planned, and assured players that only the delivery system will be changed, not the medal currency.

The timing of the system overhaul remains uncertain, especially with Arrowhead’s focus on the return of the Automatons and the potential introduction of the Illuminate. In other Helldivers 2 news, the previously defeated Automatons have made a powerful comeback, described by game master Joel as a “vanguard” for a full assault. They have not only reclaimed a large portion of the galaxy but have also joined forces with the cyborgs, posing an upgraded threat.

Additionally, fans are speculating about the potential entry of the Illuminate, creating a sense of impending danger as Super Earth faces attacks on multiple fronts. Despite the challenges, the call to spread Managed Democracy continues.
