A trailer for the game was released after footage from a demo was shown, confirming that Uvogin and Machi are playable. With a launch roster of 16 characters, that means we now know half of the total roster. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Eighting, the developers behind Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, are helping to make the game’s fighting mechanics.
Even if there’s a lot of discourse surrounding Nen Impact’s roster size right now, we at least have confirmation of two more characters who are going to be playable at launch. It also showed Uvogin and Machi as playable fighters, which means we now know half of the roster. We sadly don’t get to see either member of the Phantom Troupe actually do anything aside from getting the snot kicked out of them, but we do know they’re going to be playable in Nen Impact.
Here’s hoping we find out more about them soon.
