In the upcoming Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3, several bugs will be fixed, including Jaheira’s refusal to follow you and Wyll’s less-than-romantic greetings. The patch will also introduce exciting new features such as photo mode and crossplay, slated for release “further down the road.”
Larian Studios has promised new endings that will offer “even darker conclusions to your most sinister playthroughs.” These endings will be accessible even if you’re not playing as Dark Urge.
The cinematics will also receive updates to give players a glimpse of what’s to come in their new playthroughs. Patch 7 will also address an issue with the Narrator forgetting to read her lines during the Gortash and Dark Urge confrontation.
Additionally, the patch will mark the start of the introduction of the official modding tools, allowing players to customize visuals, animations, sounds, stats, and more. There is no specific release date for these features beyond “further down the road,” but they are actively being worked on.
Meanwhile, Larian Studios is also working on two new projects, showing a continued commitment to support Baldur’s Gate 3 while preparing for future endeavors.
