Extra provides access to a library of PS4 and PS5 games, while Premium includes everything in Extra, plus access to PlayStation’s classics library and demos for new games. EA continues to offer its latest football game for free to PS Plus subscribers about six months after release. Additionally, PlayStation sometimes offers four free games in a month instead of the usual three, providing a variety of options for subscribers.
Like Xbox Game Pass, the Extra tier allows access to a library of PS4 and PS5 games, with new titles added monthly. These games are available to play as long as the subscriber’s membership remains active. In the Premium tier, subscribers have access to both the Extra and Premium libraries, and Sony also adds classic titles to the Premium collection each month.
This tier includes access to Sony Pictures Core and its offerings. Overall, PlayStation Plus offers a range of benefits across its three paid tiers, including free monthly games, a large game library, cloud storage, discounts, and online multiplayer gameplay.
