Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is almost here and it brings faithful recreations of many standout moments from the original game. One of these moments is Cloud and the party’s time at the Golden Saucer, where our hero goes on a date with one lucky party member. In the original game, the date partner depended on dialogue choices throughout the main story.
However, the director and producer of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have revealed that it will be much easier to determine this time around. According to director Naoki Hamaguchi and producer Yoshinori Kitase, players will be able to clearly see their affinity levels with certain characters while playing. This will make it easier to track and determine the potential date partner.
Additionally, the game’s addition of side quests, including “mercenary quests,” will provide more opportunities to interact and build relationships with party members. These changes will allow players to easily spend time alone with their desired date or engage in bonding sessions with other party members. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is set to launch at the end of the month on February 29, and a demo is already available for those who can’t wait to experience the new and improved Golden Saucer.
The demo takes players on a trip with Cloud and Sephiroth through the Nibelheim episode.
