The Star Wars Lego set for the AT-AT includes a speeder and six Minifigures that can ascend into the AT-AT via its working winch. 2024 marks a significant year for the Star Wars Lego franchise, as it commemorates 25 years since the collaboration between Lego and Star Wars began. Over the years, they have released numerous sets, incorporating iconic characters, scenes, and contraptions from the Star Wars universe into Lego form.
The AT-AT is one of the recognizable creations from the Star Wars universe, featuring prominently in the Empire Strikes Back. The set offers the opportunity to recreate the memorable scene where the Rebellion flies around the giant vehicle’s legs, causing it to fall and explode, but caution is advised against tying wire around the legs of the Lego AT-AT. The available AT-AT Lego set, priced at $170.68 on Amazon, is a smaller option compared to a larger set which costs $849.99 on the Lego store and comprises 6,785 pieces.
Once completed, the Lego AT-AT stands at more than two feet high and comes with accessories and Minifigures to recreate the famous appearance of the AT-AT. The set comes with six Minifigures, including General Veers, two AT-AT drivers, two Snowtroopers, and Luke Skywalker, who can ascend into the AT-AT using a winch similar to the scene on Hoth. Additionally, the set includes a speeder that can be stored inside, and the AT-AT’s guns are spring-loaded for added playability.
Recently, Lego and Star Wars have released new sets to celebrate their 25th anniversary, including sets inspired by The Phantom Menace and The Mandalorian, featuring a small Grogu Minifigure. This builds on the excitement generated by earlier anniversary sets released this year, such as R2-D2 and Millennium Falcon builds.
