Gaming news outlet TweakTown recently reported that several Xbox published titles have made it to the list of PlayStation’s top 25 best-selling games this month. This includes popular titles like Grounded and Sea of Thieves, with the latter yet to be launched on the platform. On PlayStation’s side, the offerings this year have been relatively limited. While there are seven Xbox published titles on the PlayStation’s best sellers list, the platform has only managed to get five of its own titles on there.
Helldivers 2 has emerged as an unexpected hit for PlayStation, securing a high position on the list. Exclusive titles such as Stellar Blade and the recently released Rise of the Ronin have also made it onto the list. MLB The Show 24 and Destiny 2 are the remaining PlayStation published titles. This situation seems to underscore the current lack of diversity in PlayStation’s offerings.
However, for PlayStation fans, this may not be a significant cause for concern. Xbox’s recent advantage may be attributed to the release of the Fallout TV show. Nonetheless, the upcoming launch of Stellar Blade on the PlayStation platform may help alleviate this situation.
