The Mighty Nein deck focuses on the party’s more chaotic members, with Nott the Goblin and Jester the Tiefling receiving a wide array of new cards. These cards can be played in their own preconstructed deck or integrated into existing UniVersus builds.
The deck includes one copy of “Nott the Brave, Irritable Goblin” and “Jester Lavorre, Prankster Priestess.” It also features new cards such as “Big Freakin’ Explosion,” “Hostile Introduction,” “The Traveler’s Favorite,” and “Trickster’s Blessing.”
Additionally, the Mighty Nein deck comes with a five-card Collector’s booster that contains foil treatments and alternate art versions of the cards found in the deck. Players have the choice of two characters to lead their deck.
Jester Lavorre focuses on playing numerous Spell cards and retrieving them from the discard pile, with an enhanced life total of 31. On the other hand, Nott the Brave discards cards at random to add them to your momentum and deals more damage if you’ve lost more life than your opponent.
The deck leans towards a spell-based attack strategy, complementing Jester and includes healing elements to align with her role as a cleric. The deck also features thematic cards such as “Hostile Introduction” and “The Best Detectives,” showcasing the interactions and adventures of the Mighty Nein group.
UniVersus’ Critical Role decks are set to launch on March 21.
