I Can’t Bring Myself to End the Relationship with My Pawns in Dragon’s Dogma 2

I’m a big strong catboy who primarily plays as the Fighter class in the game, but I’m hoping to unlock something cooler like Mystic Spearhand. Unfortunately, my Pawns aren’t as effective as I’d like them to be, except for my main Pawn who is quite competent. She is an archer with various skills and buffs, making her a formidable ally despite her occasional tendencies to engage in more intense battles than I prefer.

Then there’s Agnes, a support character with excellent healing abilities who I recruited from the rift. She has been invaluable in many battles, and I hold her in high regard for her support. Although I don’t normally play support classes in single-player RPGs, I appreciate Agnes fulfilling that role and helping me throughout the game.

Lastly, Tiger is a Beastren with grey fur and dual daggers, responsible for dealing significant damage in fights. However, he has been getting killed frequently and seems to be less effective lately, suggesting that he may have reached his limit. Even though I have grown attached to Agnes and Tiger and don’t want to replace them, I’m starting to realize that they might not be leveling up and upgrading their gear as they should be.

Despite my emotional attachment to these Pawns, I may have to reconsider keeping them in my party as I continue to progress through the game. I’m concerned that they may have reached their limits and will need stronger Pawns to accompany me on future adventures. It’s a tough decision, but it seems necessary for the advancement of my gameplay.

In conclusion, my party has served me well, but it might be time to bid farewell to Agnes and Tiger in favor of stronger Pawns who can keep up with the increasing challenges I will face. It’s a difficult choice, as I have grown fond of them, but it appears to be necessary for my progression in the game.
