Many Marvel vs. Capcom fans have noticed striking similarities between Nen x Impact and the earlier Capcom game.
These similarities include shared animations, as well as a mechanic in Nen x Impact that is reminiscent of Marvel vs. Capcom’s X-Factor. The resemblance between the games also extends to aspects like character hit reactions and getting up after being knocked down.
While the gameplay footage of Nen x Impact features original moves for the Hunter x Hunter characters, the hit-reaction animations appear to be directly borrowed from Marvel vs. Capcom.
