The 10th Yu-Gi-Oh! Champion Series Japan tournament, held at the Tokyo Big Sight, set two Guinness World Records. These records were for the most entrants and the largest number of people playing against each other simultaneously.
Over 7,000 participants took part in the event, with Yutaro Takahashi emerging as the winner, beating an impressive field of competitors. Takahashi expressed his happiness and gratitude, attributing his success to the practice and support from friends he met through Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG.
Following this event, Yu-Gi-Oh! is continuing its 25th-anniversary celebrations with the release of a second Rarity Collection booster pack, set to include “twice as many Ultra & Secret Rares per pack.” This booster pack is also bringing back Silent Magician & Silent Swordsman after an eight-year hiatus.
In addition, a World Championship will be held in the USA later in the year, marking the first time since 2016. The text also touched on the immense popularity of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, with billions of cards sold over the years, leading to a deep tactical experience for players.
With ongoing events and new releases, the 25th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! continues to excite fans and players alike.
